Lingua Clinic has been teaching Spanish to London professionals since 2009. Business Spanish is our corporate offering: the same teaching as our private Spanish lessons, brought to your offices, for teams who use the language at work.

Why business Spanish pays at work
London does business with Spain and Latin America every day, in finance, law, banking and technology above all. Speaking Spanish lets your teams deal with clients and partners directly, run meetings, negotiations and email with confidence, and build the trust that wins the next piece of work. The British Council ranks Spanish first among the languages that matter most to the UK’s future, and our guide to why learn Spanish sets out the business case in full.
Corporate Spanish training at your offices, one-to-one or in groups
You can book a tutor for one team member or for a small group. One-to-one lessons move fastest, with every minute built around one person’s role; a group drawn from your own team keeps the content specific to your sector and company. Most companies start with two or three delegates and add others as the programme beds in.
Your tutor travels to you. Lessons take place at your premises anywhere in London, from the City and Canary Wharf to Mayfair, or at home if you prefer, scheduled into your team’s working day. Where a team is spread across sites or working remotely, online Spanish lessons cover the same course with the same tutor.
Built around your industry
Every programme is built from the vocabulary of your sector and your team’s real tasks — the documents they handle, the counterparts they deal with and the terminology of your industry. From there it is shaped around the situations your team meets: client meetings, negotiations, presentations, phone and video calls, email and written correspondence, and the informal conversation that builds a relationship with Spanish-speaking counterparts. Role-plays rehearse the real thing, and progress is reported regularly.
AXIS, Global Insurer
I started to take lessons with Antonio as a complete beginner three months ago, and can’t thank him enough for helping me to build a solid foundation and confidence in Spanish as I set off to start my new job in Miami. Antonio is an excellent tutor – friendly, knowledgeable, patient, positive and encouraging. He takes an individual approach and ensured our time together was relevant to my requirements. I thoroughly enjoyed every lesson and would highly recommend Antonio to anyone interested in advancing their Spanish skills.
What corporate Spanish training costs
Programmes are quoted rather than priced from a list, because the figure depends on how many delegates are learning, at what levels, how often they meet and where. Tell us those four things and the quote comes back the same working day.
Three points shape it. Training is bought in packages of ten or twenty hours, which keeps the sessions regular and brings the hourly figure down against ad-hoc booking. A group of up to six delegates at a comparable level is taught together, which reduces the cost per head substantially against the same delegates taught individually. And your tutor’s travel to your offices is included, wherever in London they are.
The quote covers the scoping conversation, the programme itself, all teaching materials, the tutor’s preparation between sessions and the progress reporting. Companies are invoiced monthly and settle at the end of the month, which suits a training budget drawn down across a quarter rather than paid up front.
How a programme begins
It opens with a conversation rather than a lesson. We establish which counterparts and documents the department deals with in Spanish, what each delegate needs to be able to do, and where each of them is starting from. Levels are assessed individually, since a team rarely arrives at one level.
That conversation produces the shape of the programme: who is grouped with whom, how often the sessions run, and what the first block of ten or twenty hours is meant to achieve. Whoever commissioned the training receives that in writing before anything is booked.
Spanish lessons scheduled around the working day
Sessions run from 7am to 8pm, which puts them before the day starts, over lunch, or at the end of it. Where a delegate’s diary moves, twenty-four hours’ notice reschedules a session at no charge; inside that the session is charged, since the tutor’s time and journey have been set aside.
Where a team is preparing for a posting, a pitch or a deadline, our intensive Spanish courses compress the same programme into a concentrated block. We cover A1 through to C2. Complete beginners and experienced speakers polishing their professional register are equally at home, and where a team spans levels we will advise on the grouping that keeps everyone progressing.
Why companies choose us
You work with a specialist Spanish tutor who knows your team and stays with them. Your tutor has long experience with finance, law, banking and technology teams, and the teaching is calm, structured and discreet, built to give busy professionals confidence quickly: within a year of regular lessons, most hold real conversations in Spanish and use it comfortably at work. We are based in the heart of the City, and most of our corporate teaching happens in and around the Square Mile.
